Neglected..more than one thing..

So I totally neglected this thing. and i do actually miss it. i check back every once in a while, leave comments, and fave things..but i haven't updated in a while.i just haven't had time to take pictures with college apps and all...hopefully that'll change =)

on another note..ive been losing friends too. and sometimes friendships are worth fixing, and sometimes theyre not. i'm open to others trying to fix these issues..but my effort is being spent trying to fix myself. apparently i've changed. how, im not quite sure. but no one seems to like it. it might be the stress of school, getting into college, and other odds and ends of life..but..i'm not quite sure. who knows, it might actually be them. jealousy twists the mind, and as Shakespeare said..love and reason keep little company now-a-days.

so i've been neglecting things left and right lately..

montrose at night

if you dont know about montrose let me fill you in- its the art/odd area of this city. kinda run down, but amazing. full of graffiti, posters, and random people. coffee and cigs are the norm. although i dont drink coffee andi dont smoke. taking pictures down there is awesome. some possible new shots have come from down there. at night.

night+odd part of town= some weirdd experiences.

while we were down there i was 99% sure that there was a drug deal going on about 20 feet behind us. we just took pictureslike they weren't there. which is what they wanted im sure. i saw an exchange and a handshake. then the people parted ways. odd. but amusing.

im just happy we left that place alive

so today was friggin AMAZING!!!
yay for 17!

today was super eventful.
came to school and was greeted with awesome balloons and cupcakes *which i later found out had no icing* and cookies!
right as teh bell rang 2 boys ran past chasing each other. one tackled the other and ran into this wall of windows we have. they broke a pane. smooth right? the whole hallway came to a halt when they shattered the window. everyone just kinda walked away like nothing happened haha.
THEN during 1st period we heard something out in the hall. our room is relaly close to the tardy line so no one really bothered to look. but i went out by the door and saw two guys fighting. so w00 fight! and then i was like uh.. there are two guys fighting outside. and then the whole class rushed to the door and our teacher went outside to tell them to stop. which she did numerous times. but refused to actually stop the fight physically. hahaha. some kid ended up breaking it up.
THEN 2nd period i got OREOS! a whole bag/box/thing! so that was pretty awesome. and people sung in italiano to me!
3rd just some quiz thinger. stupid algebra 2.
4th people sung to me =D yay!
5th test and people sung to me in japanese! lmao bilingual birthday =D
6th nothin
7th some lab XD.
thenn came home and woo picked up my icecream pie. and my mom surprised me by getting little mini GUMMYBEARS around the edges! it was pretty amazing.
went to dinnerrr.
got some monehh! $$
and ate cake
put off homework
andddddd
had a freakin awesome day.

and by the end of the day i hadddd
1 box of homemade sugar cookies
1 bag of homemade chocolatechip cookies
1 bag of oreos
1 across the universe cd
5 birthday cards
around 20 comments on facebook
3 balloons
1 bag of cheeseits
1 bag of icingless cupcakes
1 messenger bag
$$$$$

soo i finished my "this i believe" essay. and i actually really really like it.
so here it is.

Bubbles- My Love

I believe in bubbles. I think these little spheres of soapy liquid filled with my breath are the closest I will ever get to flying. Even though their journeys are short lived, they could never go to waste. They take pride in their graceful waltz to the ground, and disappear without the slightest applause. Their short flimsy lives may seem insignificant to many people, but they bring me more joy than most things ever could. I could do without TVs and computers if I had a sunny day and bubbles.
This strange, and very random, love of bubbles came about when I was in Galveston with some friends. I had my bottle of brand new bubbles, and it was a windy day. Perfect for blowing bubbles; the wind does half the work. I stuck out the seemingly magical wand and let the wind carry tons of bubbles in front of us. Almost as soon as they existed they were gone. The only thing that ever proved they existed in the first place were the little circles on the pavement, which would soon disappear. We came to a stop at a corner, and a lady was sitting in the driver’s seat of her car waiting for the light to turn green. The wind had died down, so I blew some bubbles of my own creation. They slowly floated towards her car. I thought, “Well if they made me happy, it could make others happy too.” I couldn’t have picked a worse person to test my theory. As the bubbles drifted toward her black SUV, the light turned green, and she flicked me off. She did it as if I had spat on her car or had any say in the wind’s direction. For a second I was crushed. All I could think was, “how could something so small as a bubble evoke such a gesture?” But that soon passed, and I decided that for that one person I angered I’d have to see 100 more smiles.
So, now, whenever I go to the park or downtown, I always take my bubbles. And I’m sure half the people who see me think, “Oh jeez there goes a crazy girl with bubbles and a camera-don’t make eye contact.” But sometimes you catch someone’s eye and a glimpse of a smile. And it just feels good to know I put that smile on their face, even if it was only for a fraction of a second.
